THE AQUARIUM, REINVENTED!
At Tropix Aquaponics, we know Aquaponics can exist in a variety of setups. People often think of Aquaponics being in a massive greenhouse spanning for hundreds of feet if not thousands. This is a common misconception, as Aquaponics can exist in an environment as large or small as you like. At Tropix, the goal is to build an aquarium that is lightweight, compact, and even portable! No need for electrical outlets to plug into, as our AquaBottle is powered by a single 9V battery! Also, our aquariums are made of 95% recycled or biodegradable material.
UPDATE: AquaBottles have come a long way since their invention in 2015. We are currently prototyping Version 3, the only Arduino controlled commercial aquarium out there! This means you can monitor the water temperature, quality, and much more, remotely from your computer! The software, called AquaStatus, is going to be available on our website soon, available for multiple platforms, such as Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
